Go to Connectivity and select WAP options → WAP profiles → New profile → Next (for each of the fields enter)

  2. Connect using - MTN GPRS/MTN Internet as in Service settings

  3. IP address

  4. Advanced: Change homepage

  5. Homepage, enter: ww.google.com

  6. Security: Off​

  5. on the Server Tab Select username and pw required

WAP Account

  1. Got to Control Panel → Connections → WAP Accounts

  3. Select Internet Account you want to use - MTN internet

  4. Check the Use proxy box

  5. You can set the username and password (optional).

On the Preferred tab, select a checkbox to set MTN internet as preferred WAP account​

Next, for each of the fields enter:

  3. IP address (Mandatory) – 192.168.004.134

  4. Save

  5. Select MTN internet → Edit → Chg homepage

    for each of the fields enter:

Note: Install the E620 Huawei Mobile Connect Software from the CD included in the box. Follow the installation procedure provided in the Quick Start Guide. Configure the Internet service using the following procedures. 

  1. Launch Mobile Connect application

  2. Click Settings (Pull down menu)

  3. Select Network Connections Settings…

  4. Network Connection Settings → Click New

  5. Select Profile name

  6. Enter Profile name: MTN internet

  7. Authentication → Enter Number: *99#

  8. Leave User name: Blank

  9. Click Password: Blank

  10. APN and Additional Settings → Tick Static

  11. Enter APN: internet.mtn.com.af

  12. IP Settings → Tick Dynamic
