How do I deposit money on my phone?

• Go to a MoMo agent or MTN Shop with your phone
• Tell the agent that you want to deposit money into your MoMo account
• Hand over the cash to the agent
• Tell the agent your Mobile number
• The agent will deposit the exact amount of money into your MoMo account. You will receive an sms that the money has been deposited.
• Ensure that you sign your transaction in the MoMo Log book at the agent’s outlet before you leave.

To send MTN Mobile Money to a Registered MoMo User:

• Dial *222#
• Select Send Money
• Select To Mobile Money User
• Enter Mobile Number
• Enter Amount
• Enter Reference
• Enter PIN

You and the recipient will receive an SMS notification with the transaction details.
