MTN Afghanistan inaugurated 21 days of Y’ello Care Campaign in Kabul

MTN Afghanistan inaugurated 11th edition of 21 days of Y’ello Care annual Campaign on Wednesday 10 Jawza 1396 in Alfatha High School situated in third Makroyan Kabul City.
In the first phase of this year Campaign, MTN Afghanistan arranged computer training for Government –School’s Teachers and will build well-equipped Computer labs in coordination with Education directorate of Kabul city, in selected number of Schools.
In next phase of such Campaign of this year, MTN Afghanistan will distribute stationary kits, establish well-equipped library, donate furniture and tents to school-classes and provides E-Learning portal and free internet devices to make sure the students have the proper education and are up to date with the digital world.
Mr. Hidayatullah Zahid the General Manager Corporate Affairs of MTN Afghanistan in the inauguration ceremony of the program delivered keynote and said: “ MTN Afghanistan management recognized the value and the importance of Schools and Education and their impact on the community development and its prosperity that is why we choose and prefer the education project and give him the first and top priority, he added: we promised to support Schools and Educational Academies with all existed and possible materials available in our hand, he also said, we hope such donated material will be very useful for Students and learning process.
The Deputy Minister for Ministry of Education Dr. Shafiq Samim Said: I am truly happy to appear and take part in a program in which solely concentrated on the education and development of Afghan School Children, as you know better the key factor for the strength and empowerment of the community is to invest on children education, as a matter of fact, throughout last decade, Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in cooperation with international community made tangible improvement in Education system in terms of quality Education, providing shelter for schools, raising Teachers’ capacity and facilitating School with update and modern Tax books but we have to bear in mind that there is still room for other organizations and private sector to work together with Afghan Government in Education Sector. I really appreciate such program initiated by MTN and urging other private sectors to follow MTN and take active step in the developing of our young generation.
The coordination director of Kabul city education Department Mr. Shafiqullah Toffiqi Said, it as a great honor and please for me to participate in a very noble Program arranged for the helping and assistance with the innocent generation of Country that is School children. Considering the current situation of the Country I do believe that school children are the most eligible people than anyone else to receive such help and assistance that is useful for their growth and development.
